Georgia Simmental & Simbrah Association was formed in 1970 to promote Simmental and Simmental -crossed cattle. Membership services also include discounts on advertising campaigns, updates on bull tests, marketing thru booths and other programs.

GSSA is an affiliate of the Georgia Cattlemen's Association as well as the American Simmental Association. Georgia Junior Simmental Association serves youth cattlemen, ages 8-21. Contact us for more information about how your youth can get involved in the program that offers public speaking and leadership skills, education about cattle, scholarships and field days.

It's always great to see young people passionate about the cattle business and want to return to the family farm. Dalton Tankersley, a former successful 4H junior showman and a recent graduate of UGA is now a Lincoln County cattle producer and in business with his dad, Stan Tankersley. The farm recently weaned their SimAngus/Angus sired calves in August, preconditioned them for 60 days and shipped them to a mid-western feedlot. Dalton is now  living his dream as a full-time cattle producer and the farm heavily uses Simgenetics! Congratulations Dalton!!
