"Membership Has It's Privileges"

The Georgia Simmental Association will pay $250 to the Grand Champion Simmental Heifer and $150 to the Reserve Champion Simmental Heifer in both the purebred and % shows at our State Show in late February. In addition $100 will be paid to the exhibitor of the Grand Champion Simmental Steer and $50 to the Reserve Champion Simmental Steer. Also every Simmental heifer exhibitor will receive an additional $20 premium money.

Those who receive any of this must be a paid Junior member by January 15, 2006.

In addition, the Junior Association has other planned activities, such as an Ice-Cream social at the Junior Beef Futurity, Pizza Party at the Georgia National Fair, Gwinnett County Fair and State Show, a $500 Scholarship (won by Jessica Bryant this year), Quarterly Newsletters, Junior Web Site and a special Simmental Junior Heifer Show. In addition, the 2007 Eastern Regional Junior Simmental Show will be held in Georgia (Exact date had not been announced, location will be the Gwinnett County Fairgrounds in Lawrenceville, GA).
